The American Cancer Society’s Northern New Jersey Golf Classic is the premiere outing in Northern NJ that raises funds for the Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer. While progress has been made in cancer research, we still have a lot of work to do.

You are invited to join us on Monday, September 08, 2025 at Hackensack Golf Club for a day of first class golf, networking and an inspirational dinner program to help our efforts in finishing the fight against cancer. By bringing together business and community leaders at this event, we are able to support the American Cancer Society’s programs and services. In the past ten years alone, the Golf Classic has raised over $4 million to help the American Cancer Society continue to fund life-saving research, as well as, free programs and services for cancer patients and their families in our community and across the nation. We know with your participation, we can help to make this cancer’s last century.

Join us as we celebrate our 48th anniversary. You won’t want to miss it!

Our Mission

Mission Funding: Research

Since 1946, the American Cancer Society has supported researchers at pivotal points in their career – to give them the support they need to keep great research going or to take their ideas from dream to reality. The American Cancer Society is proud to have helped more than 24,000 investigators make important advances in prevention, early detection, treatment, and care for those with cancer. In fact, 50 of those investigators have gone on to win the Nobel Prize, considered the highest accolade any scientist can receive. As the largest private not-for-profit, non-governmental funder of cancer research in the US, the American Cancer Society has played a role in many of the major cancer research breakthroughs of the last century.
